What We Do

The Women's Foundation of Florida educates and empowers women and girls to be leaders, so they can change the world. We invest in their ideas and encourage their leadership to positively affect the economic, political, and social status of women and girls across Florida.

Women in Leadership

​Increasing the number of women in public leadership roles changes the way the world works. From serving on government and nonprofit boards to empowering more women to serve in elected office,  we can take action to ensure our leaders reflect the diversity around us and that they lead with a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. We invite you to join this non-partisan leadership movement to ensure women are visible, valued and heard.

Girls in STEAM

Did you know that in middle school, 74% of girls express interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), and women make up 47% of the total U.S. workforce, but are much less represented in particular science and engineering occupations? Our goal is to inspire more girls (especially underserved girls from diverse communities) to recognize their leadership skills and lean into the power of STEAM.

Professional Development

Women can be powerful allies in your career. Our volunteers build their leadership skills by organizing programs BY and FOR women and girls across Florida. These events bring women together for fun, educational activities that foster networking and professional advancement.

Policy and Research

With partner organizations across Florida, we bring to light information about key issues that affect women and girls.

Grants and Giving

Together, we are investing in projects led by and for women and girls. Projects may include advocacy, education, leadership development, life skills development, mentoring, skills development, trainings, and more. Help us be a catalyst for positive change while connecting, collaborating and celebrating with other women leaders.
