Internships
The Women’s Foundation of Florida empowers women and girls and invests in their leadership. Our programs build skills and leverage the community’s collective power to change the way the world works.
The Women’s Foundation is seeking two interns to help us build women and girls leadership in Florida.
Interns will learn about the women’s philanthropy and social change movement and help plan and market local programs. From supporting our monthly professional development events, to collaborating with leaders in the STEAM field, to organizing programs to train women how to run for elected office, and so much more, interns will gain invaluable event planning, community organizing, graphic design, marketing, and leadership skills. Interns must commit to approximately 10-15 hours per week during the semester and will work with Women’s Foundation team members in virtually via Zoom. They will be assigned unique projects, receive training and countless opportunities to meet leaders across the county as they participate in our programs. A work plan will be designed for each intern that meets his or her interest and skills set. |
