Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering with the Women's Foundation is rewarding experience that will allow you to empower and educate women and girls in our community while helping to shape the programs and activities we offer.

The Women's Foundation of Florida relies on our volunteers to provide our programming for women and girls. All of our programs are organized by committees of women who volunteer their time to coordinate programming and events. Committees meet approximately once a month and members are asked to attend as many related events as their schedule allows.
Current Committee Opportunities: Professional Development Committee (PDC) This committee designs and delivers powerful leadership programming for adult women through workshops, networking opportunities, and hands-on learning experiences. Girls Leadership Institute & STEAM Committee Focused on building the next generation of leaders, this committee supports programs that engage girls in leadership, advocacy, and STEM. Development & Raise the Bar (RTB) Committee This committee leads our fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation, membership, and event sponsorships—especially for our signature Raise the Bar luncheon and Daring to Raise the Bar Event. Communications & Marketing Committee This creative and strategic team tells WFFL’s story—building awareness, engagement, and action through powerful messaging and outreach. Advocacy & Policy Committee This team organizes policy work and civic engagement programs that position WFFL as a statewide leader in gender equity.
