Florida Women on the Run (WOR) is a transformative non-partisan campaign training and mentorship program that equips women to step confidently into political roles, campaign leadership, or community advocacy.
We proudly collaborate with various community organizations across the state, fostering a vibrant and diverse cohort of women. Our program kicks off with a comprehensive in-person training day in Orlando and Jacksonville (choose one), followed by enriching monthly workshops conducted via Zoom. And culminating in the Women of Power Graduation Celebration. What sets FL WOR apart? Our workshops are facilitated by current and former elected women, providing you with a unique chance to learn from their firsthand experiences. Their insights and mentorship will be invaluable as you embark on your political journey. Since 2013, the Women's Foundation of Florida has empowered over 500 women statewide. Remarkably, more than 35 of these incredible individuals have embraced the challenge of running for office this year alone, with 24 currently serving in elected positions. Countless others have taken on appointed roles, leadership positions, and campaign roles. Let's work together to shape the future of women's leadership in Florida. |
