Starting a Nonprofit Business

In the Starting a Nonprofit Business workshop, attorney Adam Fetterman will covered the:
  • Pros and cons of starting a nonprofit organization;
  • Step by step process to setting up the nonprofit;
  • Basic principles of nonprofit governance and operation.
As a practicing attorney and advocate for nonprofits, Adam will share his knowledge as well as his first-hand experience starting, leading and operating nonprofit organizations. He has extensive experience as legal counsel to numerous nonprofits, has served on many boards, and in 2012, Adam helped to establish The Inner Truth Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the needs of survivors of sexual abuse and rape founded and led by his wife Mindi.

In this workshop, Frank Tidikis explains the complex topic of FL Sales and Use Taxes and will answer your questions.

As a retired business executive and SCORE Mentor, Frank will share his expertise on FL taxes. He has extensive experience in mentoring local businesses for the past 12 years and is deeply involved in giving back through community organizations such as United Way, Martin Volunteer and the Vietnam Veterans of America.
