Women on the Run (WOR)

​This non-partisan, 6-month campaign training and mentorship program is designed to equip women with the skills, resources, and confidence to run for elected office, work on political campaigns, or lead community organizations. Through a combination of in-person and virtual workshops, participants gain the hands-on experience and network necessary to thrive as leaders and change-makers.
Program Highlights:
  • Comprehensive Training: Participants will learn the fundamentals of running for office, campaign strategy, fundraising, messaging, and leadership skills.
  • Expert Guidance: The program features training led by current and former elected officials, campaign professionals, and community leaders who provide mentorship and support.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with a powerful network of women who are actively shaping the political and social landscape across Florida.

  • Duration: 6-month cohort program with monthly workshops and hands-on training.
  • Locations: Kicks off with an in-person session and continues virtually.
  • Cost: The cost to cover the full program is $250. Scholarships are available.

FL Women on the Run works to break down these barriers, empowering women to run for office and engage in meaningful leadership in their communities.
