Since 1994, Minx has been designing, developing, and facilitating both essential conversations and innovative programs that support health and balance, creativity and effectiveness, reflection and achievement. This work is produced for individuals and groups as well as for business and not-for-profit organizations. Trained in such cutting edge technologies as Appreciative Inquiry, Emotional Intelligence, the Art of Convening, and Positive Psychology – the science of happiness, Minx has facilitated countless group conversations that encourage women to acknowledge their gifts and talents, own their power, and identify and take a stand for their highest values. Because women are relational by nature, these circles of discovery and support have empowered and emboldened women to reach beyond their comfort zone and take on the challenges they face personally, professionally, and as community activists. Minx is a columnist for several magazines, the author of four books of poetry, and co-author of four books for women.
As a strong advocate and supporter of organizations involving a spectrum of interests from women’s issues to environmental concerns to the quality of our food supply, Minx has been an activist for more than 50 years and has, over time, taken on leadership positions in several organizations. She is the current President of Executive Women of the Palm Beaches, which is dedicated to the professional and personal advancement of women through networking, sharing resources, and encouraging leadership. Minx serves as a Board Member of the Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach County, an organization focused on advancing women’s leadership and growing social, political and economic opportunities for women and girls. She has been a co-creator of and presenter at their annual Girls Leadership Institute event since its inception. As an environmental activist, Minx sits on the Advisory Council of the Arthur R. Marshall Foundation whose mission is to develop, promote and deliver science- based education and outreach programs that are central to restoration of the greater Everglades ecosystem. She has also been a mentor and instructor for their Summer Interns Program for the past 5 years.
