Daring Leader

Jean Marie Middleton
Sr. Attorney, School District of Palm Beach County

Picture
“Service has always been at the center of my professional and personal life. The Women’s Foundation of Florida shares that commitment by creating access, opportunity, and leadership pathways for women and girls. Through its programs, WFFL strengthens not just individual women, but the communities they serve—and that work is worth stepping outside my comfort zone to support Dare to Raise the Bar.”
— Jean Marie Middleton

Jean Marie Middleton is a respected attorney and civic leader with nearly four decades of experience in public service and legal leadership. She currently serves as President of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and brings deep expertise as a Florida-certified civil mediator and longtime youth court judge. Throughout her career, her work has focused on fairness, accountability, and strengthening pathways to leadership within the legal system and the broader community. Through programs like Women on the Run and Women on the Bench, she has seen firsthand how investing in women transforms institutions. She is a Daring Leader because she believes true progress happens when women are not just invited to participate, but empowered to lead.
