Daring Leader

Director of Community Relations,
Palm Beach Center to Combat Antisemitism & Hatred,
Jewish Federation Palm Beach County

Picture
“I’m a Daring Leader because I believe leadership is about showing up for equity. When women and girls are empowered to lead, our communities are stronger, safer, and more just—and that’s why the work of the Women’s Foundation of Florida matters.”
- Alexander Lewy

Alexander Lewy (pronounced LevE) has spent over two decades bringing people together across differences in nonprofit, government, and civic leadership. As Director of Community Relations at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, he works to combat hate, strengthen interfaith partnerships, and build understanding through collaboration and dialogue. A former Vice Mayor of Hallandale Beach and longtime public servant, Alex’s career reflects a deep commitment to community, justice, and service. He believes leadership means showing up, speaking out, and building bridges where others see divides.
